30g unsalted butter, melted
30g brown sugar
1 tbsp white sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp beaten egg (about half an egg)
40g all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
30g chocolate chi
Preparation
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until combined.
Step 3: Add vanilla extract and beaten egg. Stir until smooth.
Step 4: Add flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix until just combined.
Step 5: Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
Step 6: Scoop the dough into 2–4 small balls and place on the baking sheet.
Step 7: Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the center is still soft.
