4 store-bought butter croissants
4 tbsp raspberry jam
80g fresh raspberries
1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Preparation
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Step 2: Slice each croissant in half horizontally, leaving one side still attached if you prefer a "pocket" style.
Step 3: Spread about 1 tablespoon of raspberry jam inside each croissant.
Step 4: Gently tuck in a few fresh raspberries into the jam layer.
Step 5: Close the croissants and place them on the prepared baking tray.
Step 6: (Optional) Brush the tops lightly with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
Step 7: Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the croissants are crisp and slightly golden.
Step 8: Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and garnish with mint leaves before serving.
