About the Recipe

Raspberry croissants are the perfect shortcut to a fancy café-style treat. Combining buttery pastry with the tart sweetness of raspberries, they’re simple to make but look and taste impressive. Whether served warm for breakfast or as a pretty dessert, this easy recipe adds a touch of elegance to any table.

Ingredients

  • Ingredients List

    • 4 store-bought butter croissants

    • 4 tbsp raspberry jam

    • 80g fresh raspberries

    • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

    • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

    • Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2: Slice each croissant in half horizontally, leaving one side still attached if you prefer a "pocket" style.

Step 3: Spread about 1 tablespoon of raspberry jam inside each croissant.

Step 4: Gently tuck in a few fresh raspberries into the jam layer.

Step 5: Close the croissants and place them on the prepared baking tray.

Step 6: (Optional) Brush the tops lightly with beaten egg for a glossy finish.

Step 7: Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the croissants are crisp and slightly golden.

Step 8: Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and garnish with mint leaves before serving.
